You get a high score locally, the game asks SEND ONLINE (Y OR N) after your initials. A recording of the game is sent. The server replays it to validate and prevent cheating. Each score shows the initials typed for it and unique tag of your game.
Download a recording (RPL) and drop it on the game to watch it.
Unpack and run. On macOS, the first time: right-click the app, Open. On Linux, ./install.sh adds it to your menu.

A native remake of Pinball Fantasies, the 1994 PC release, for macOS, Windows and Linux.
It reads the original game's own files and runs the physics, the table rules, the dot matrix and the music itself: nothing is emulated. All four tables play exactly as the original does, under either the 1994 pictures or remastered ones.
- The original rules and physics, taken from the game's own data.
- Remastered artwork, every table redrawn at high resolution, not upscaled, with its lamps still working. F10 switches between it and the original pixels at any time.
- A CRT look with scanlines and glow, on F9.
- Online high scores, every one replayed by the server from a recording of the game before it counts.
- Free and open: the code under GPL-3.0, the new artwork under CC BY-SA 4.0.

Hi, I'm Pedro. This is a hobby project that I've been building with AI (code and image generation). I stitch and align every image myself, decide how things look, sound and feel, Claude writes most of the code, and then we go back and forth over all the little details until the ball moves exactly like it did in 1994.
Most of it gets made in the gaps between everything else, especially during the naps of my baby daughter, the real boss of the project, who decides when development starts and mostly, when it stops.
If you played Pinball Fantasies back then, I hope this feels a bit like coming home. And if you didn't, welcome to Party Land.
